In part one, we list three of the many places you can go and see while on your honeymoon, today we will be listing 4 more attractions and recreational spots.

1.) Negril Hills Golf Club

If you and your parther are fans of the sport, then you can go have a day of golf at the Negril Hill Golf Course, this is a 18 hole course that features lush tropicical vegetation. If you have never played Golf before, this could be the perfect oppurtunity to learn the sport.

2. The Negril Lighthouse

Take a tour of the Negril Lighthouse, one of the most popular historic landmarks in Western Jamaica. The Lighthouse is located on the outskirts of Negril’s West End, Negril Point, now known as One Love Drive, it is perched on a slope that overlooks the Caribbean Sea where the sun kisses the Water. 3. Negril Beach

Negril has one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The western coastline contains the island’s finest beaches, stretching for more than 6 km (3.7 mi) along a sandbar at Negril. It is known as the “7-Mile Beach” although it is only slightly more than 4 mi (6.4 km) in length, from the Negril River on the south to Rutland Point on the north.

4.) The Kool Runnings Waterpark

It is the newest and only Waterpark in Negril, so if the beach doesn’t cut it for you then you can always go have a funfilled day with your other 1/2 at the Kool Runnings Water Park.

The tower is approximately 100 feet tall and is 100% solar powered, initially it was powered by a gas lamp, but in 1956 it was replaced by an acetylene gas lamp. The solar power was added in the late 1985, just a decade before its 100th Anniversary. The landmark still stands and is being maintained as it still guide vessels safely around Jamaica’s western edge.

If you are in Negril for your Negril Beach Wedding, Honeymoon or just for vacation you may consider seeing the lighthouse, there isn’t an entry fee to see it, however a donation is appreciated. It is located nearest to hotels which includes, Catcha Falling Star, Tensing Pen, The Caves and the popular Rick’s Cafe which is known for its cliff diving and breathtaking sunsets.
